After months of exciting organic growth on the Limor app, we have launched our first influencer led competition with Sara Da Silva, a fitness clothing company with an aim to create further awareness of social audio and drive further downloads of Limor . Our aim is to share Sara’s voice with the Limor community and experiment with new strategies of promotion and marketing.
We are delighted to say that Sara has signed up as an official Limor ambassador. To mark this we are running a competition until the 23rd of February and will keep track of its progress over the next few weeks, learning in the process what strategies work and what strategies are less successful.
The competition is our first real influencer partnership “growth hacking” experiment that we have implemented since the official launch of our app back in September 2018. The competition was designed in conjunction with Sara Da Silva to help grow Sara’s audio/voice following on Limor and, as a result, increase the number of downloads on the app. It is very simple and full details can be found on Sara Da Silva’s Instagram profile:

The prizes are:
-A set of Beats Matte Gold Solo 3 Wireless Headphones
-A Sonos Play 1 Home Sound System
-SDS Black Panther Leggings
-SDS Red Branded Jacket
-SDS Seamless Top
All this will be given to the lucky winner who enters by simply downloading Limor from the App Store or Google Play and following SaraDaSilva’s official Limor profile.

As many of you may know, for any start up business, marketing, promotion and awareness are fundamental areas that need to be continuously and constantly pushed for more engagement and growth of your product. Fortunately for us at Limor, our organic downloads and following has been extremely positive, mostly because people are realising for themselves how important voice is becoming in the world of social media and lifestyle — which lends itself directly into what we are- a “Social Audio” app.
“In the past 36 months, I’ve been talking a lot about how the next “wave” in marketing is voice” — Gary Vaynerchuk
Voice is being talked about more and more in today’s society across the world of media, technology and news. Just look at the money being spent by some of the biggest companies in an attempt to dominate this “next wave” of marketing, whether its Siri advancing with each of Apple’s new iPhone releases, or Alexa’s & Google Home’s popping up more in households all over the world, the power of voice is at the forefront of every big organisations plans going forward. Not only that, it is also becoming massive for social media enthusiasts who are searching for the next wave of content creation on other platforms — mainly podcasting and sonic identities. Limor offers all of this in a social environment and is currently available for free to download.
Despite all this organic growth and increasing positive attitude towards social audio — as an experiment, we will be running this competition for a number of weeks. The aim is to help with awareness of the app for those people mentioned above who are searching for a platform like Limor — People who want to get into podcasting and audio creation, but who want to do so hassle free and without the cost that comes with traditional podcasting (cost in terms of money and time). Limor also offers the exciting opportunity for real conversation and interaction via our voice comments section.
More can be read on what exactly Limor offers across our other published articles on Medium, but for now, if you haven’t already, you can start your social audio journey by entering the competition and exploring all the content on the app while doing so.
